I’ve caught 3/4 since deer season that were 3 legged but it’s because we got a few people on our lease that have no business shooting at anything

Seems like we see them more regular these days. Heck everyone is shooting at them, trying to run over them, snare them, trap’em, dog them, etc. It doesn’t surprise me much to see it.

I see that bulldog is is in there and on the right spot, that’s good. Your hound pup is there too. Glad they got to see some pork.

The hound pup is loose as a goose big ol mouth on him but has been silent so far. He was rigging but gunner was not so I let him go to see what he want fool went 200 to get shocked off a cow lol. He is a very sweet puppy good feet head and ears on him now let’s hope he got something between there

Did you check that cow? May’ve been a hog in disguise. I think these hogs around here do it. Sometimes I think they climb too.

I wish every dog I owned had a big ole houndy mouth. Sometimes when I’m reading Cajuns posts, I can just hear those plott dogs singing. It’s a beautiful music.

Deputy Dawg use to have an old male dog named Bobby. Man that joker had a horn. BIIIGGGG ole bawl mouth when he bayed. So much so that you could tell where he was baying at the hog when you got there. If he faced up to it, the hog wouldn’t have any hair left on his face. If it was from the side or the rear the hog would be bald there. And if it was naked you knew he was able to circle while he bayed. Definitely not a poachers dog!

We have caught a few over the years. About the only hogs my dogs can run down.

lol first hog I ever caught alone at night was a 3 legged sow was broke off at a font elbow. Maybe 150 lbs. fresher wound but healthy hog. It took me a minute to get the nerve up to walk in there and go catch that hog by myself. I had to laugh when I seen she was 3 legged.

I feel the pain men. 4 places with In 5 miles of the house, all subdivided. 4 years ago we were catching hogs in all of it. Today, good luck figuring out who even owns it.

It’s not hard to figure out who owns it Slim. Just go hunt it, and they will find you.
