Figured this might be a decent topic see if some of us are closer together than we thought may be able to hunt together/make a cross or whatever the case may be

We’re over here by Lufkin TX middle of East Texas spitting distance from Louisiana(bout 1.5 hrs) 2 hrs N of Houston 3Hrs south of Dallas
Most of the country over here is pine thickets/cutovers

Schulenburg Texas here. Do most our hunting from here west to Flatonia/Cistern or east to Columbus and south to Sheridan.

We are in the big metropolis of Rockdale. Just about where central and east Texas meet, the intersection of Hwys 77 & 79. We can be in about any kind of terrain Texas has to offer within an hour or hour and a half drive. Our immediate area is cattle country, woods and pasture or crop land in the river bottoms.  Some spots are heavy in mesquites, weesatch, and black locust.

Sulphur, OK, only been here 9 months so just getting started. Learning the layout of the public land nearest me but will be exploring some of the other areas. I do hunt in the Hondo, Ozona areas, not afraid to travel to hunt. I’m getting older and want to take advantage of however many birthdays I have left in front of me.

My name is Monty Hanson and I live south of Conroe in the oldest neighborhood in the woodlands, hunt mostly around Columbus and Sheridan with Mr.Douglas Mason and have permission to run dogs on a small deer lease around the Atoyac river east of Nacodogches also have made a few hunts in the hill country with Doc Smith and Jake Reed working the Guthrie terriers.

Northwest Texas about an hour north of Abilene. Have a variety of terrain from open wheat fields and mesquite flats to river bottom and cedar break country. Don’t comment on here much but sure enjoy reading the posts.

Anybody around Baton Rouge? Got business l we there and I make the trip about once a month. Would love to bum and hunt sometime if anybody would have me. Heck anywhere in Louisiana along I-10 corridor would work for me. I ain’t scared of a little detour.
