Dogs look good and so do the pups…but I sure do like the looks of Hermoine.

Wayoutwest me to I’m glad me and my boys can raise these and put the handle on them will see
T-dog thanks bud me too they look good but can they do the other I’m not gonna force them onto a hog at a young age but it be tempting to see them work right now I have couple older catchdogs so these pups can sit back a little and be puppy’s but when it’s time to work they better be ready lol

Beautiful pups…if they were mine I would put them on a small shoats ear for no more than a minute just to see if they were born with it…that would be a nice data point to know for your breeding program…the idea is to breed natural ability or the natural inclination to want to catch a pig…
If you do let us know how it goes…

Catch dogs with brains are priceless! I like a dog that catches deep. That little gyp couldn’t get more ear in her mouth. As smart as it sounds like she is, she will learn to do that and have the base of the ear in her jaw teeth.

T-dog the gyp is a shaker and a whiner she sure did have a good grip the male had a full ear and stood there with a little shake here and there crazy part was using the break stick to get them off I didn’t wanna yank on teeth or anything so I used a break stick man one part about them there sure loving the hog now but I like that I clap when they come close and snap my fingers and I’ve taught them when I do that they sit and I congratulate them with a treat or a pat on their back I’m very please with the way there coming along and this my final pup from rip for awhile this is Solo his momma is a jitterbug dog and he is two weeks old so as right now I’m set with future catchdogs time will tell if they all make it to the woods
