1st hunt for my 10 mo old 2 pups, they covered allot of dirt despite not knowing what they were hunting. Caught 3 in an hr, they got to this bay and did good. They were 800 yds away missed the first 2 bays but wasn't mad at them for rolling out. My lil pit caught all 3 on the ear, glad to see she picked right up after all the time off. 2 big sows 1 lil boar  Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk |

Good hunt. A young dog might not know what it is hunting but if they got the right stuff in them, they will be out there hunting something.

A line of BMC's weve been keeping around the past 15 yrs, heavy weatherford ben blood. Ill get some pics when I can, built to run for sure. Hopefully they hunt as good as they look, should find out this winter God willing |

I see. Well I hope they do work for you. The Ben dogs I’ve been around in the past weren’t real rangy and they were for sure salty. I guess that’s what they were bred to be though. Randy told me out of his own mouth that Ben was basically just a catch dog. Stands to reason that anything that went back to him heavy would be rougher. Randy had another male at that time that he called Rodeo. In my opinion, as far as looks went, Rodeo was the dog. Man he had running gear under him and a real pretty black mask. His head shape was nice too, a longer rectangular shape with a good muzzle. I always regretted not trying something out of him. He was physically more my type.

The ones we have are very rangy, not as dog agro as the WB, allot of them are not to gritty, but that is the most common reason they dont make it, Id say 20%. We go to a Hawk line (bens relative of some kind) seem to be rangy and less gritty |
