This boar wasn't afraid of the dogs and wanted to fight, bayed in a field that was easy walking and didn't run 50 yds. Dogs struck at 500 yds, he had a pretty gritty pack all backed up baying. Sent my lil pit in from 20 yds and stuck it, he never made a sound. My cat ep hunted her but off thankfully and bayed 1 more up but to far off to get to her. Took my 4 mo old w. Ben pup for his 1st time, he was good with the big dogs, box, etc. Made several 300-500 yd loops and when he got to this bay fired right up baying tight, I was so happy, I'd bet he's going to make a dog. I usually don't start them so young but next fall he'll be to old to start, and I don't hunt in summer much, plus don't want him being to gritty starting him late so glad it worked out! This is my cat eps dad that struck it. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk

I like the look of that ole dog. Looks Like there is a lot going on in that head of his. He’s heavier built than I thought he would be.

He is the heaviest of his cat EP crosses, they are very smart. Part of it is how much he hunts them but they dont need leashes load up etc all verbal , they recall real well to whenever called which is convenient when there across the river half a mile away

Man anymore they just about have to recall or they’ll end up dead or stolen.

That is a good boar. . Looks like great hog territory. Actually, looks like some of the Marsh we hunt.

Nice boar hog…sounds like that W. Ben has lots of potential to make a top hog dog…

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...
