Been going pretty regularly last month and this month. Had a good hunt last week. Started off by a light rain in the morning. Didnt get started till about 9 because of it. Didnt get on anything for the first couple hours then on hogs all day. Caught some, missed some. Ended up with 9 total and a few shoat pigs. Dogs all did as they should. Exept my "cow Broke" 4 year old dog hunted around cows all its life....baying a cow.

Finnaly brought my camera to take a few sorry pics!

I think I’m gonna change my name to cajunt! Seems like the ones with Cajun for a name catch all the pork. Cajun catches so many that he has to wait for them to migrate back into an area after he has eradicated it. NLA might as well call himself NLA Cajun because he does the same thing. Cajunl has dogs that it only takes two hours to go invent hogs that weren’t even there, and then catch nearly all of them after they’ve given them a head start. It’s no wonder a couple got away, those dogs were spent I’m sure. All the hocus pocus and then having to go catch them too has got to be tiring. That’s real good stuff though bud. It sounds your dogs are tuned up and really doing the job. Get more pics of good looking mad scientists for us.

Sounds like great dog work and harder work for you. Years ago it would about kill me to kill a hog. We either barred them or just brought them out alive. It is way easier bringing them out dead but is still work. Great job. Tdog I need to bring you to some of my pet places where it is nothing but cutover and running hogs. Those places will sure humble you and cut into your averages. lol

Thank yall. Tdog I aint no where close to the hog doggers Tdog, cajun and nla hunter are.....but I try to keep these pot lickers in order! They are gonna start to cut the cane here in a couple weeks. So I am hoping we get some good numbers up.

Mike I get some places where we can sell some live hogs to high fence pay hunt operations. It is a lot of work, but to me I would'nt have it any other way. It makes it worth while to drag them out alive for a little extra $$$ for dog food. I hate to kill them, but I still have some that wont let me take them out alive. I am more than happy most of my spots we can still work them. Thank goodness hogs dont eat pine trees!

Cajun, I lived in east Texas for five years. I had my share of those clear cuts on those paper companies. It’s tough for sure. You’re exactly right about it humbling you. I don’t miss that at all.
