Four rounds in 6 days, It was a busy week. I got in Saturday and we made a round Sunday and caught 4. I then headed to Austin to pick up a friend and her son from Saskatchewan who were coming from hunting cats in British Columbia. We went the next morning and caught 3 more . Went again Wednesday and caught 3 more. Yesterday went again and for the first time got into boars and caught 3 of them. That young Canadian got to throw his first hog and was sticking them all week. He will have some stories when he gets back to the Great White North. We had a rough time yesterday with a bulldog and 2 baydogs taking serious cuts. The dogs weren't T's and it looks promising that they will all make it. T will have to add some pics.

My buddy Kohl’s young gyp. Did a real good job for her 3rd hunt. She’s a littermate to the male pup a gave Slim.

WOW’s bulldog on his first hog ever. Went to the ear pretty natural and liked it. Lots of potential.

All 3 of the northerners

This was his first hog to leg without any help.
.

We had a real good time. Lots of good dog conversations. Wendy (Whitney) is a pretty dang good dog person. She’s a dog hunter as well, just not on hogs. So many people meet her and for whatever reason remember her name as Wendy instead of Whitney, so we poked at her about a time or two. Alex takes being picked at really good and gives at back just as good. He was a fun and intelligent young man. He absolutely loves my recollections of certain situations and how I tell those recollections to people, lol. Everyone pitched in real good yesterday when dogs got hurt. We packed one of them out about 600yards and across the creek 3 times with 30’, greasy banks. It was nice having everyone pitch in and know what needed to be done.

Good hunting gentleman. Thomas them dogs sure sound like they’re coming along nicely.
King is trying to get healthy, his sister is a looker. I’m going to have to meet this Kohl eventually. Me Tim and Hunter are talking about getting together for a hunt during this weather first part of next week.

I’m going to go pester some hogs south of halletsville after lunch tomorrow if yall want to see something different?

Cajun, I come through a couple stretches of single digit weather on the way down. I really come down to escape that crap.

Can't deny that is real good dog work, and a real good time with friends, except for the injuries this hunt would be hard to beat.

If y'all are wondering why we are laughing in those pictures, it's because Thomas had just said "Thomas is beautiful".
