It wasn't enough to turn the grass completely white here and it was gone as soon as the sun come out.

We got 4-5" in Longville, Louisiana. And my boy learned a few things about driving in the snow.

You’re going to have to put his training wheels back on Teaspoon.

I’m up Angola rd in rural west feliciana parish, tunica hills area. I’ll be trapped in on the property couple more days. But that’s to be expected when these deeply wooded steep hills freeze driveway over. We got probably 5”

Yeah T-dog, he said that's the only thing that happened in super slow motion that he had no control over.

New Orleans got 10 plus inches. Unheard of this far south. We do normally get a light snow every decade or so. I am ready for it to leave and those below freezing temps. I really dont know how those people handle it up north in snow country but they are way better prepared for it then we are.

To me, the worst part of it is the damage to all of the trees and plants. Very little of our trees and plants can handle the ice. With big trees overhanging the house, it makes me nervous. I remember the last ice storm and how it sounded like a war zone when I stood outside. POW in every direction, one after another from tree limbs breaking. It was unsettling for sure.

We had 7 inches from the previous front but didn't get any snow with this one. Did however get some low teens/ single digit mornings. Hope you guys get all thawed out without having too much trouble.
I bet the kids had fun in the snow.
