Man that sucks! I know it’s part of having dogs and I know we never know when our number is up, but it doesn’t make it any easier. He sounds like every kind of hog hunters dog.

When I was a kid I had an Australian Shepherd that was about a year old. We were outside watching him run up and down the fence playing with a dog on the other side. All the sudden he yelped and fell over graveyard dead. Heck of a deal.

Do you have any pups off of him?

That’s a bad ordeal, I know he was a top dog for you. The good ones never stay around long enough.

Sorry to hear about your dog, I lost a long 2 yr old the same way a couple of years ago. He was bouncing and barking one evening when I fed and the next evening he was almost dead.
