Me and mporter took some of his family and friends on a hog hunt and it went from good to bad real fast we started in Roscoe and we caught four hogs out of one group and the guys with us were having a blast after all it was most of thems first time to go, then we left there and went to one of my places over in ira and we didnt make it down the road more than 200 yards when the dogs threw there heads up and went across a hay grazer patch and went into the milo that was standing they bayed about six hundred yards from us and he broke and went in the pasture we got to the fence line and had to bays we decided to go to the younger dogs first and it was a good choice we got about 30 yards and they were all hammering down on a hog, i had a new catchdog and they had theres mine had not really picked up what a bay was yet but he would deffinatley catch well we get there and he is pulling so we let them go and they both fly to the bay, some of the new guys take off right after them well the hog broke and ran at us then went back in the dry creek bed and the dogs nailed him we got the dogs back and stuck this hog because we noticed it had some great teeth, started notcing that my buddies dog was not with us and the garmin said he was 12 yards away we went and the hog had killed blacky this was the hog we dedicated to him    Scott and his dog blackie he will be missed  |

Thats a rough looking hog, I bet that dog went down like a true soldier. RIP Blacky.

Blackie RIP I know it is hard when you get dog cut and killed. Scott just keep your head up. We know when we put a dog on the grown it can happen .
Hope the 3 that got cut or doing good.
That look like a BS hog on the pic you sent me.
