sounds fun but seems like pay out is low ! barly 25% of the entry if there is 40 teams .. seems like yall would get more teams to travel if the prize did a little more than cover gas and supper @10$ a plate .....do we at least get free seconds ?LOL     JMO!! good luck with your contest !    DoGONit

This is a benefit for the girls softball team... not a money maker.

Looked good til I checked out the ranch website.  There is a picture of a "trophy" hog that someone killed.  It was as domestic as they come.  That crap is a joke.

Just got back a few hours ago from making the trip to All About U Ranch & Outfitters in Pauls Valley OKLAHOMA to the hog dog competition and man what can i say, James West and crew are a class act facility, and have a very beautiful place. James said they are having another Dog Competion in January. I think its another fund raiser for the backwoodz softball team also. James West and Crew thanks for a very fun and cool day, it sure beat sitting around and watching dogs bay in a little pen.

Oh and Kevin i didnt see any domestic pigs in the pen.

thanks to everyone who showed up for the baying and the support yall brought to the backwoodz girlz softball team.congrats to the 1st place team of ty davenport.they caught 3 hogs in the 30 min time frame and said thank goodness it wasnt any longer than 30 min..they caught their 1st hog in 6.54 min the 2nd hog in 18.65 min and the 3rd in 28.42. the 2nd place team of josh wilson not only finished 2nd but also won the big hog side of the comp. with a 218lb boar hog.their times in the baying were 1st hog 9.54 min 2nd hog 19.45 min and the third hog 29.44 mins.3rd place team was chris hale with 2 hog 1st hog in 4.15 min and 2nd in 15.84 min.. we will be hosting another baying in jan. back in the 100 acre hog perserve that will be run the same way as it wa this time. everyone liked the way we ran it and said that no one could handle anymore than 30 min. or could the dogs cause it is supper fast pace.we will also do a small bay pen for people who dont want to hunt the perserve or are physically not able to compete walking all over the place.so if u do have bay pen dogs we will have a event for u as well.we will be getting the dates out in the next week or so as to when we will be doing the next event. a big thanks again to everyone who showed up and the girls greatly appreciated yall and ur support,
