One of the yellow dogs in the pictures is a little mate to the black dog...My dogs are all related on my place...I get saddle backed-Blacks and Brindles the black dogs go back to Lewis Woodruffs dog called H.R One of the best stock dogs I have ever seen work!! Lewis owned the woodruff place in trinty texas on the trinty river...That is where I was taught to hunt!!! These men did not use catch dogs and there dogs were not rough only catch on comand!! They would run 3 to 5 cur dogs on the ground...The dogs handled better than any I ever seen these guy never kept a leash on them just tie rope....They would tell me if you got to lead that dog he ain't got no handle...They would stand in there saddles and just jump on the hog..If the dogs let that hog cut you then they would say he just did'nt do his job....Very seldom did you see one of there dogs get cut and most of the time it was a pup...Just one of those things you had to see to beleave!!
