Took my 8 year old daughter out last night deer hunting and at last light a group of 5 hogs was wondering around about 225 yard. I figured it wouldnt hurt to try a shot. I have never shot at anything over 100 yards with my 35rem. I am using the Hornady Leverevolution ammo 210 grain. I put the crosshairs right on the shoulder and squeeze the trigger. 4 hogs run off the 5th hog dropped, stone dead. I couldnt believe it, My daughter was so excited. This was the first kill she has experienced besides ducks and squirells. I think she is hooked for sure now. She wanted to skip school this morning to go hunting. I feel like a lucky dad to have a daughter wanting to go every where with me now
