Head north to Missouri. I can feel this year is gonna be my year. Rifle open till Wednesday then stick and string. Weather has been wet there so hopefully I can find where they are traveling.  More updates to come!

Nice light south misty wind. Found a decent rub line so I'm overlooking an old rock quarry. Hearing lots of shots but I haven't seen anything yet.

HAHAH been there done that!!!  Usually I sacrifice a sleeve off the t-shirt but if it is cold you don't want to have to strip down to the t-shirt layer.  Paper towels, folded neatly, stay in the back pocket of all of my hunting pants and most coats I own  Grin

Farming life must be tough.

I didnt see anything yesterday evening.  I sat on a rub line I found, and its a good one!

Slept in this morning and took care of a few work things.

Some weather has blown in.  Its cooler and WINDY.  I just hope the rain holds off.  Calling for 33 and rain!
Im about to go get ready to go hide down in the bottom lands. I know I wont have signal so Bump I might see something, if I can keep the Ipod turned down low enough  Grin

Today is the last day of rifle season so off with the bow after today.

Had a decent hunt tonight.  It was cold, windy and raining.  Had a buck grunt a couple times and ran three does probably 5 feet from the tree I was in.

I got to see a bald eagle.  They seem to be prevailient around this area.  I usually see them when I am here.

Heres a few pictures.

to the left of the stand

In front of the stand

to the right of the stand

Rub near stand

Track that I saw on the way out.  Must be a BIG deer
