The proper dosage for Fenbendazole (Safeguard / Panacur) (A BROAD SPECTRUM WORMER WHICH WILL NOT KILL TAPEWORMS) in dogs is 25 mg / lb daily for three consecutive days.

For example, treating a 50 lb. dog would require 1,250 mg daily for three days (50lbs X 25 mg/lb)
A 10% (25 gram) tube of Safeguard Paste contains 2500 mg of Fenbendazole.  So to properly treat the dog you would administer 1/2 a tube daily for three days.  (2500 / 2 = 1,250)

This is really not that hard to figure out.

Found a good deal on Worm-X on Amazon. The large tablets are nearly 4 times the size of the small tablets and only twice the price.

I just bought some of that Worm X at the feed store and gave it to two dogs that were looking pretty poor and near as I can tell it seems to have done the job and the dogs are starting to put on a little weight.  Have you had good success with that stuff in the past Neches?  That deal at Amazon is a heck of a deal, I may buy that just to keep on hand and give it about every third month just to keep the tapes in check.

I have had incredible luckk with it. I had one dog that just wouldn't put on any weight. Found out he had a bad infestation of tapeworms. I tried everything sold and when I finally tried worm-x he got better in no time. Not bragging by my dogs are now about as healthy as you'll ever see a dog. I keep a huge bowl full of food for them and they will just eat a few pieces here and there but they stay in shape. If they didn't run like they do everyday they would probly be way too fat.
