Well my dogs are mean and are known to bite and protect!!

One night I had a knock at my door about 4:00 am it was a law officer he said could I come get my dogs they had a man bayed in my pond!! So I get up thinking oh no what have they done!! There was 3 dogs Rambo-Titty Baby -and Ike..Ike was just a pup at the time!! So I through on some close and head with the officer to the pond sure enough the man was swimming to each side of the pond and they would put him back in!!I called them off and the man was scared to death!! I was really worried about what had happened... I keep my gate locked at the front of my place so I was not sure what the guy was doing on my place!!Me and the officer helped him out of the pond!! Here is the profile of the guy so you can get the picture!! Ear rings both ears- three tatoos of tear drops under eyes-had a twitch to him ( Brain Fried) Race Hispanic!! This is his excuse not very smart  he said that a buddy told him to get out of his car and walk home so he was going to see if I had a phone to use to call someone to pick him up!! Dumb Butt how did you call 911 Oh he had a cell phone!! So the cop ran his name several warrents including agreveated robery with a deadly weapon!! They check his sell phone and the last person he called before calling 911 was his partner with the same record as him!! They arrested him and the next day I found a 22 pistol about a 100 ft from my house and it was loaded!! I guess he dropped when the dog got after him!!! I did not know what the tatoos under the eye ment the cop told me it ment he has taken a life!!Well he sure did'nt get to add another that night!!I petted the dogs and was sure proud!! Could it have been something honest yea but it is a gamble I will take!! I live on a large track of land with no nieghbors!!I do have guns but they stay locked in my gun safe and it would take me 30 minutes to open it!!I don't even own a pistol just some dang good yard dogs!!

My dogs have never offered to bite a kid EVER its like they no the difference!! But if you jerk my kid up real fast you better watch out!!!

One more My brother-inlaw got his place broke into so many times that the insurance company said they were going to drop him if it happened again and they recomend for him to put an alarm on his house so he did!3 weeks after he got the alarm his house got broke into again!I give him 2 cur pups and all that B.S. Stopeed it has been 3 years and his house has not been harmed sence!!

good deal...
It's comforting to know that those dogs on the outside are more than just
hunting dogs. My black lab went nuts a couple months ago. Had a total different
bark than her usual. When I looked out she was all bristled up having a mexican
standoff with a coyote about 10 yards from her!!! That was his last trip close
to the house Grin Grin

Great story cward!  And to add to it, I'm pretty sure you get one tear drop per kill (so I have heard)...and he had 3!!

I let my dogs out to run the other day and I was sittin in the shop and heard my 10 month old dogo pup sounding off a pretty mean bark (he has 3 different barks)...I went and looked and there was a guy I didn't know there, he had just got out of his truck and Tyson(dogo) was not gonna let him go anywhere!! I told the guy to get back in the truck and when he did I called Tyson off!, he is a real nice dog but he knows who he has seen before and who he hasn't!!

Chance,

That does not sound to me like they were being aggressive... They were just trashing on a trespasser Wink

I have been bite by several dogs and think it is pretty funy myself when a dog is protecting its place!!An atack type dog is not tolerated but a back up dogs is!!I have had dogs all my life and love playing with them and see what I can get away with!!

On my 15 birthday some friends of mine had a surprise party waitng on me they were going to whip me with a belt!! When them dogs heard what was going on  all my buddys got treed all I did was laugh!!!I have the same gentic as I had then and I don't see them whipping me today!!

In college I got home from class one day and noticed my living room widow was broken and my rotty was in the backyard which was weird because I had left him in the house.  I go out back to whoop his butt and it looks like someone has stuck a hog in the yard because there is a lot of blood.  Great....he's cut himself on the glass when he jumped thru.  After checking him out I couldn't find a single scratch so I start looking around and notice someone popped a little hole in the upper half of the window and was able to push the lock half way open.  I called the cops and we determined someone had tried to break in, the dog went thru the window to attack the intruder, there must have been a wicked fight because there was blood on the house, on the fence, alll over the yard, and all the way down to the street.  The cops were sure the guy would pop up in some emergency room and they would pick him up.

That is an awesome story.  Three years ago I gave my dad my old retired catahoula and within a week that dog bayed and cuaght two feral messcins.  One of them literally went up a tree to escape and wile my old man waited for the cops he gave him the old come to Jesus speech Grin. Seriously, he was preaching,  whether you call it aggression or protection I can live with that.

I'm a paramedic. I went on a call the other morning. Some guy had had a ruff night and passed out in his backyard. His boxer went over to the neighbors and brought them back to the owner, but wouldn't let them near him. She called us and the dog came out front with her and followed us back. When we tried to get close the dog stood on top of him and growled. He eventually woke up wondering what was going on and what all the commotion was. It wasn't my dog but I would have been proud of it if it had been.

I got robbed on Christmas day last year. I had the dogs with me at the inlaws. The dogs don't get to come for Christmas this year.

We are just about the only ones in our neighborhood who hasn't been broken into. I give all the credit to my dogs. Chance, you know what kind of people live around us (rough ones). All trouble. Our dogs give lots of warning barks. I don't think that they would actually bite someone unless they pushed one into a corner.

Bout 3 years ago I came home from work and Annie, my pit, and Angus, my A/B were in the front yard, and the front door wide open. I got the dogs in the house and looked around. Nothing stolen......Hmmmm...... A little later my neighbor across the street came over and said he saw a couple of Mexican kids open my front door, start to go in, and then come running out with my dogs on thier tails. I asked him why he didn't shut my door. He said,"Cause them dogs were on the porch and I was afraid to end up like them Mexican kids!" I still don't lock my front door.
