All this talk about horse tack and such has got me thinking, maybe some of the things I build might be helpful to someone on the board so I thought I'd post a few pics up.  This is just a small sample.  Can also do belts, wallets, checkbooks, headstalls, reins, spur straps or will try to make anything you want.  Feel free to comment and if anybody is interested in a particular product, shoot me a message. Sorry if its too many pics.
Happy holidays everybody,
Ross

Ross I am impressed!  I see several things there that I would like to have, those taps with the brand overlay look sharp!  I like the fact that your hardware, buckles, rings etc don't look like they are light weight/cheap.

Matt, if I'm not using handmade hardware I still use stainless steel hardware.  It seems to hold up better and looks better longer than anything else I've used.  Plus it adds a little bling  Grin to whatever I'm building.  Taps like that with a brand or tooled top piece are $185.  Just let me know if you need me to price ya something else  Wink

Ross,

Do you mind pm'ing me a price on the pulling collar, night latch,  and a set of hobbles. Stainless hardware. I would also like to get her some saddle bags made, but want to make sure this saddle works for her, before I drop the coin on some fitted bags.

Thanks,
Chris

Nice work. How much would you charge for the second pair of spur straps shown (Basket stamp w/o brand)? How much do your chaps average? Do you have any pics of tooled belts? You can pm me if that works better.

Thanks,
Toby

Can 'O Worms huh, ross? We are like a bunch of bloodthirsty leather hounds!

VERY nice work. When you price the collar to chris, please price it with and without a circle c brand on the near side just below where it attaches to the swell.  angel I never leave a bridle looped over the saddle horn when my nag is in a stock trailer, and I have a fear of someone reaching in and removing the stuff than can be taken off the saddle. We sometimes lock our trailer when we stop somewhere questionable, but that won't stop someone from reaching in and unsnapping or unbuckling. I think that branded tack may make the stuff a little less interesting to a common thief. I could be wrong.

Cheers

Do you do knife sheaths? If so I need a couple, and prices on them.

Well, never had any idea that this would be so popular..lol  Ok, I'll try to answer some questions:
  Chris: pulling collar w/o brand $125 w/ brand $135.  Nightlatch $20. Hobbles $50.

tobyb2007: spur straps w/o brand (2nd pair shown) $50. Comes with buckles like on the first pair.  Chinks start at $200 and Leggins (chaps) start at $250.  Can range anywhere from that price to anything you can dream up.  Have built a few sets for $600.  More along the lines of the pair with the playboy bunnies.

lighteningh:  I run across this ocassionally.  I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say kick guards.  Send me a pic of what you have and what you want to change on them and I'll work you up a price.

Silverton: Still workin on trying to get Colt's girlfirend to email me pics of that belt.  I can't believe it.  The prettiest belt I ever made and forgot to take pics of it  Angry  Thank you for reminding me about it.

lonewolf:  I will try to find some belt pics to post so you can see some different tooling patterns.  Prices are as follows.
Border stamp (excluding running w or carlos border) $40
Running W or Carlos border $55
Basket stamped or something like it:$75
     Simple floral: $100
     More intricate floral: $125
Floral with dyed background and edges: $200

Guys I know that sounds like alot for a belt, but I promise you once you get it in your hands you will understand the difference in my products and store bought items.

Alan:  Yes I still work at Mitchells but all the stuff posted is what I do at my house for extra cash (dog food/ hunting equiptment money..lol)  I'll be more than happy to build something for you, just call my cell or send me a message.  Anything that comes in the shop I build in the shop and bossman get paid for it...lol  Otherwise I do it at my house in my spare time.

sfboarbuster: Yes I do knife sheaths.  If they're folding pocket knives I will just need pics of them and length measurements and # of blades.  If they are straight knives, usually I need the acutal knife to get a correct fit guaranteed.  Let me know what you have and we can go from there.

Everyone, thank you so much for the interest and comments.  I will sure try to get to everyone's questions and orders if y'all choose to place an order.  All I ask is that you please remember that I do have a fulltime job and all these pics are from stuff that I do at my house in my spare time.  I will get everything finished and shipped as quickly as possible, but don't get to work on it everyday, so bear with me please.
If anyone has other questions or wants to know speicific prices please feel free to post on here or pm me with anything I can help you with.
As with any of my products, if you aren't happy with the quality or have a problem with something, please let me know and we will resolve this problem.  I will either fix what was made, build you a new product or refund your money depending on the particular problem.
Thanks again to all!!!!

Thanks Ross,
I will probably get back with you on spur straps some time after Christmas, once I have money in my pocket again. Still interested in seeing pics of some tooled belts. How thick is the leather that you use for spurs traps and belts.

Thanks,
Toby

Toby,
Just let me know and we'll fix you up with some spur straps when ready  Wink  .  I'm uploading pics to photobucket as we speak to post belt pics on here.  The leather I use for belts and spur straps is 7-8 oz for straps and 7-8 oz lined w/ 3-4 oz for belts.  All belts I make are lined and stitched.  Makes em look a little nicer and last longer too.  Check back on this post and I'll have the belt pics up shortly hopefully.
Thanks,
Ross

Wacey, consider that a trial run Garmin holster.  It had to be proven before we could make you a fancy one.  If you want one consider it done (my friend payment i suppose...lol  Grin )

We want to see the garmin holster too....

Our garmin lives in a koozie. I guess we could act real fancy and say it is a wetsuit for the fine piece of equipment, but it really is just a beer koozie.

Mandi, we'll have to see if we can talk Wacey into takin a pic and downloading it for me.  I didn't take a pic of the garmin holster before I got it to him.  I can always build another for myself i guess and post the pics if wacey can't get the pics of his.

Everyone I just want to say some of the belt pics are old pics.  I still do those tooling patterns but every belt I make now is lined (backed) and stitched.  It makes for alot cleaner and nicer product that will last longer.  They will look more like the floral belt with dyed backgrounds as far as finished product.  I know I don't have a picture of a basket stamped belt, looked and couldn't find it.

Any questions feel free to ask away.
Thanks,
Ross
