Well the year is winding down, and i was tryin to think of some hogs that were caught in 2009 that really stood out. I thought of a few but one that really did was the one that the holubs ( I THINK)  caught. and not to mention all the ones that LionandBoarhunter caught LOL.

So what are some ones that you remember the most?

the holub hog was impressive.

it has not been a good year for me in the trophy area. Lots of sows and average boars.

MY birthday hunts, when we were visiting Marvin in Louisiana. Some exciting hunts, but this one was a bit too exciting. Got cut all the dogs and I have to admit I got myself a bit scared seeing the female collapse after finding this hog and holding it for a while on her own before the males got there.

But she was luckily just overheated.

GOOD times!

Without a doubt, this one.  Decent boar caught with just my wife and son.  It's in a frame in our living room, and it's going out on our christmas cards.  I know, I know, if you hav a hog on your christmas cards, you might be a redneck.  Cheesy

This is our most memorable boar this year.  i don't think i will ever forget this boar.  in the last picture its hard to tell but i love how big the top teeth are. hunting 15 foot tall silage and grazer and finding this in the middle of it is surely my night to remember.  nothing compared to some the pig's lionandboarhunter has shown on here.  yes camera girl caught us off gaurd and we will a little ok really silly.

These two...

This one was caught by old faithful, Ollie. But it was struck and bayed by just two pups, one of which I really miss now. It was also my roommate and his 9yo nephews first hunt.

This one was caught by just Sadie and one of the pups that I bred because the catch dog was off on its own pig... It took about 10minutes of us sitting there watching and wondering what to do when they got tired of baying. The pig tried to bluff at me and both dogs hit an ear without hesitation. That was the end of Mr. Boar.

This is the only time I carried my camera, this is my best hog this year. I work two weeks on and two weeks off but still caught my share of piggies.

Havent lost any dogs this year and im thankful for that.

This hog here I didnt get to be there when my dad, brother and nephew caught it I was working but no dogs got hurt the tusks were curled back so I think that had a lot to do with it.

Caught sometime in March of 2009
Brother Chino and my dad.

Here are a few that stand out for me and my wife (djhogdogger) in 2009.

This was my packs 1st hog they caught on their own.

This was the biggest cutters we caught this yr.

This was the heaviest hog (275 lbs) we caught this yr.
