We started off around 7:30am at a place that we haven't hunted in a couple of months. The dogs hunted good but, didn't turn up anything, so we moved to another spot. We casted the dogs out and they went 700yds and opened up. We made our way to them and heard alot of hogs rallied up. We kicked the bulldogs off the wheeler and it was on from there. Right off the bat, we had a sow and a shoat caught. My two partners tied up the sow, while I tied up the shoat. The dogs rolled out and bayed up again and I sent a catchdog to them. We got another a good sow tied and as we were getting her loaded up the dogs bayed another one and were headed straight for us. We waited till they were within 100yds and cut the bulldogs loose. The sow broke, but was still headed to us. She ran head into a brand new 6 strand bob-wire fence, went under and the dogs caught her on the other side about 20 yds from us. We decided to call it a hunt and got the cur dogs caught. Not a bad way to end it at all. Heres a pic of the 3 sows and a good start to Christmas Eve.
