Went to a place West of town put the dogs on the ground in the snow, hunted for about forty five minutes turned up nothing. Went to the other side of the ranch dumped the dogs out again and immediately the dogs hit a trail and took out. We seen some deer run up so we thought "Oh no, they're trashing." But to make a long story short, one of my buddies dogs and my dog, Buck had ran a hog and bayed it on another ranch that we called and got permission to go on and get the dogs. After we tied it and loaded it up on the truck, we called the hog buyer to come meet us at the buying station. He took these two pictures for us and the hog weighed 200, which we got 45 dollars for. 20 cents a pound plus a 5 dollar head bonus. After going to eat lunch, we went back out to the ranch, and got on another good trail that they ran for thirty minutes but turned up nothing. Went to another side of the ranch and the dogs bayed around an 80 pound boar that we stuck, didnt have the camera for this one. We were too far from the truck. Me, Skm11, and Bo were on this hunt together. Thanks for looking.   |
