Correct WTC, should be the same as Joe Manning had the Tx Smoke dog. I have no idea? Have a buddy getting some dogs from him and was just curious about em.
Were abouts is he at? the Tx Smoke dog was a good dog way back when,Joe had some pretty good competition mt. cur tree dogs back then. |

Manning curs were registered as mtn curs with OMCBA. They were some go get bayed quick hog dogs with a ton of stopping power. He bred them more for squirrel and coon hunting but after Joe Manning retired he moved to Arizona/New Mexico area to run cat and bear with his dogs. The Texas Smoke dog probably is the dog that put him on the map so to speak.
