we had a one time permission hunt on some private land in the mountains last fri.dog struck 10min.into hunt an i followed up the mountain at much slower pace than the dogs.after reaching the top i was able to track the dogs. this also goes slower in the hills because u get alot of bounce signals.headed the right way i heard them a few hundred yards out the ridge and down in a creek draw about 100yrds. deep. the dogs were caught and waitin for me. she went about 150#or so.2 other hogs were shot in the valley below those dont count to me"no dogs" but it all worked out we now have full hog doggin rights. - dog credits-Jade plott,Butter bmc,Clyde bmcxplott  |
