This big barr and his buddy boar hog keep posing for the trail camera every night, knowing I can't hunt the place until after Jan 24.

He is sticking his tounge out, taunting me, etc. About midnight on Jan 24, he will probably decide to change zip codes, probably not be seen again until next deer season......

Seriously though, my buddy showed some pics of him to a few other deer hunters in the club and they are hunting for him now.....he may not survive until Jan 24!

No he doesn't, he looks like a pretty good boar hog and he looks to have some teeth....

Its odd becuase those two hogs are together in every trail camera pic. Its unusual for a boar that big and a barr to buddy up like that.

If they bay together, we may have our hands full.......... Shocked

It looks like they are in training to me crackerc! Wink Getting ready for you and your dogs. I sure hope the deer hunters miss out on them so you can see how fun they are dragging out of the woods!

I sure hope you get a chance at them both. The hog on the right looks more agile and athletic. I bet it'll be fun.

These deer hunters HATE hogs. Before my buddy in the lease got me in with the dogs they were gut shooting every hog that they saw and letting them run off to die...or trapping them, shooting them in the traps and dragging them off for the buzzards and 'yotes......

Something about that just bothers me......... Angry

I dont agree with that either.
No need to let any of God's creatures suffer. If you are going to kill them then kill them ASAP! The only exception is fire ants! I used to roast them with a magnifying glass when I was a kid! I took a lot of pleasure in that after wadding off into my first ant bed!  Grin

I wouldn't call it very unusual for the boar hog and barr to be together. The last 2 years we've caught really big of both that we're laying together.. The first group had 2 barr's around 220 and a boar hog about 240.. That was a crazy 20 min catching those three! And then the year before while hunting up near Trinity we bayed 2 big boys, a barr weighing 330 and a boar hog weighing 352.. That was a really good hunt lol good luck!
