I came across this fella while out chasing pigs week before last. The dogs were out and away, so no dog/snake encounters thank the Lord. Ya'll watch your step out there, the serpants are everywhere!--John   |

You're right Clay. Not many timber rattlers to be found anymore. I believe they are still on the endangered species list. Mike, I've never been one of those snake jumpy people, but I believe I'll leave the catching them to you. That's not my cup of tea! Can you get Shawn to video some of you snake wrangling a big ol' cotton mouth? I believe that might just be worth watching. --John |

Yeah, you really don't want to take little kids out hunting with mike. He picks up snakes AND talks to strangers.

He picks up snakes AND talks to strangers Mandy, Savannah would fit right in with Mike. She loves snakes too and (as you already know) she never meets a stranger. Hey Mike, you need another kid for the summer? She's got her own pig sticker and she doesn't eat much. --John Tx, That 4 ft. copperhead has got to be close to making Boone & Crocket! That's big for a copperhead. |
