We took the puppy that we won from TDHA that was donated by Dexter out for the first time this afternoon.  We wanted to see what he was going to do when he saw a hog. We took him out to our friends place USHog Outfitters aka Joe. The pup ran with his sister one that Joe had gotten from Dexter.  Both pups were awesome and look like they are going to big time hunters. Our pup's name is Apache, he was very timid at first and would rather run and chase leaves until he got to close to the hog and the hog flipped him and then it was on.  Made him mad and the hog could not get away fast enough.  Thanks again Dexter for donating the pup that we won.  Apache is the one with the darkest spots, his sister is a little lighter and a little bigger.

Apache is the one in the middle and his sister is the one closer to the hogs head.

This picture is Joe/USHog Outfitters, his friend, and the little guy is my grandson, it looked like they were trying to figure out how they were going to get thru the woods to the dogs.

No our dogs did not damage the hog.  The night before a neighbor to Joe, dogs got into the pen and damaged the little hog.  That is what happens when people do not take care of there animals they have to go out looking for food.

We have to thank Joe's puppy which is Apache's sister for leading him.  But we think in time he will be great.
