Our very own Douglas Mason was on that show with Tred Barta. I don't care much for Tred or his weird behavior, but that was a more realistic "documentary" than the one on the History Channel.

Yeah, that was pretty poor. These guys get out in dusters like a scene out of Tombstone and act like they are horsemen. I think a four-wheeler would have been a lot easier but that doesnt create as much drama as a horse rolling down a hill. Anyway, they could have done a lot better job i think with a little bit more research and found some REAL hog hunters and trappers. The part I enjoyed the most was the man telling about all those 1,000# hogs being domestic.

well, it's a shame the History Channel chose to go that route. Like matt said, "oh the footage i could have had that day!". like cody said though, at least there are some people out there showing the real deal. speaking of which, "Doggin Texas 2", coming late June/early July he he, sorry couldn't resist
