I am assuming most of you had seen pictures or met our NKC reg American Bulldog Paige. She really wasn't a full time catch dog, she was our house dog.
My baby.  Wink She caught quite a few pigs, even busted a few windows out of our house to get to the bay pen when we were working dogs to catch a pig. She was in the woods a couple of times.
She even slept with us and stayed in the house all the time. Loved playing with my son 24/7.
She had proven her self enough for us. As some of you know we were suppose to breed to Mike's dog Clifford but she had a crazy heat. She came in and went out and came back in. We decided not to breed her.
Around Christmas she started acting weak. So for precaution I took her to a vet.
He diagnosed her with Pnuemonia and put her on antibiotics. About four days later she got worse and he could not get to her due to he was out of town.
So I took her to another vet who said she didn't have Pnuemonia she had a rare blood disease. After xrays and blood work they put her on more meds and I was running IV fluids 4-5 times daily.
I got a call a couple days later to let me know the test had come back false positive due to the antibiotic the first vet put her on. So to bring her back in three days. I came home the next day and she took her last breathe.
So after vet visits and quite a bit of money we still do not know the real cause.
She will be greatly missed and always remembered.
RIP Paigers!

Also if you got a Dogo/AB pup from us it was out of her.
I would like to know how they are doing. Thanks!
