im looking to build a rack on the back of my four wheeler and i was just wanting to see everybody elses racks and how they were built so if yall could please post some pics!  |

Here is one I built last year. I would make a couple of changes on a new one. I used 1" square tube 1/8" wall, I would use a little thinner material on a new one. This one is HEAVY. I also would put an additional bar on the rear, I have some concern that a dog will hang a leg while jumping off the back of mine. Here are the pics.    Here it is in use   |

I knew I got the idea for mine from pics I had seen and printed out sometime back...I just couldn't remember where the pics came from and who had posted them.
Notice the resemblance, Circle C ?

Bryant.... I did notice a resemblance. I also noticed that you did not miter the tubing in all of the places. You left some square cuts.  I could have saved a lot of time cutting and fitting mine if I had square cut in some places. Truth is, I should have paid more attention to what my geometry teacher was teaching me (she was HOT, and I had trouble focusing on the blackboard), therefore some of the angles on my miters gave me hell. |

Yes I did. I was in a hurry, and at the time didn't have a bandsaw. Cutting miters with a chop saw is a PAIN!

matt, no sir i wouldnt change anything that i can think of. Were bout to put a small strip of plywood at the back so the dogs can put theyre feet on to keep from sliding off backwards. HD those collars are from Tejas Outdoors in alto, tx. here is some more pics.   |

HD ive never used a cut collar from hoot. but these collars work real good. and the one strap makes it easy to take off and on

I too have noticed that the people with their racks on BACKWARDS seem to hail from Brazoria county like Scott mentioned. I have considered building another rack to go on Mandi's Foreman and having it Backwards. I might find that I like it better. I also like the idea of the shock on the rack. I can see where that would be real helpful on an IRS bike like a Rincon. |

yes Circle C it does help a IRS fourwheeler. It takes alot of weight off of the original fourwheeler rack to so it dont break. alot of people that dont have a shock on theyres they get some dogs on there and all that weight and hitting bumps and stuff breaks the welds on the frame and rack.
