Are you hunting a management area?
Is it legal to run through the everglades and catch hogs off the islands in there? Or say the swamps in Lake O. Telll us some more about the legalities of airboat hunting.
  Nice hunt.

Where I hunt from airboat is in the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes in Central FL.  There's over 20,000 acres legal to hunt year round night or day with dogs.  There's a place called Gardners Marsh which is the majority of the swamp which is (rough guess straight line) 4-5 miles deep and 7-8 miles wide. Yes a lot of times you can just ride and jump them but on this morning we started down wind anbout 2 miles of the hammock we wanted to end up in and would drop the dogs as we went.  Luckly we ended up with hogs every time we stopped.
