Keep it clean and it will heal very fast as long as the dog can lick it. Keeping it clean is the biggest deal. It has happened a few times to my Lab in the marsh.

The super glue worked for me, but my wife put a sock on his foot. I figured he would chew it off, but he wore that stupid sock for a week and a half. Never put his foot down while the sock was on. Was all heeled up in about 2 weeks.
