This morning at daylight, at a top secret location near the Trinity River (somewhere between Anahuac and Dallas  Grin ) Sam, Matt and I turned the dogs loose. Before we left the trucks, Sam's two little bob-tailed gyps, Piper and Dixie had the first hog bayed. We ended up catching three in an hour. 180lb boar, 150lb sow and a 125lb boar.

This was also my bulldog Sadie's(from Realdogs) first time to catch in the woods. I was very pleased with her, easy to handle and locked down hard on the hogs.

Really fun hunt with good friends, can't ask for much more than that.

Interesting white oak I believe with some HUGE acorns

Sounds like my kinda hunt!

I like the blocky head on that leopard dog in the second pic.

Matt-  Glad to see you got your grin back.

Mike-  If you run low on feed, you can send that Sadie dog this way.  She's looking good!
