I can not tell you which vest is better because I have only used the DEVASTATOR KEVLAR VEST. I run 6 of these vests 4 to 5 times a week for the last several years and I have yet to have a cut all the way through the vest. I have had to have several leg flaps resewed on and one strap broke but both where easily fixed. I would not run anything else other than these vests. They are light weight, the dogos have not overheated and these vests are worth the weight in gold in my opinion.
I am sure that there are other good vests out there, but I will stick with what I have seen work.

Any vest that is gonna protect the dog is the best bet when compared to paying the vet every time out. It's been mentioned few times most all materials used to make a vest were cut to be sewed together and WILL eventually again. But if it pays for itself on the first outting then it is already paid for.

We use Tejas, and we havent had any problems with them. We have been using these vests for about 6 yrs. The only advice I have is to definately have the leg flaps put on them. If I'm not mistaking, I believe Ugly Dog has the flaps already on them. Some people say that the Tejas are to heavy, but it hasnt fased our dogs any. Its just whatever you like. (But I am a firm beleiver in the leg flaps, for sure.)

i have a vest from Tejas that has took some beating. It hasnt been on alot of hogs, but already looks like its time for a new one. I have had 2 boars with about 2 1/2 inch cutters go straight through it. Granted, it would have been much worse if he hadnt had the vest on, but it just didnt seem very durable. I will try to get a couple pics of it on here so you can see the hits its taken.

DaisyDog's Skitzer dog wore one on over 300 catches without a scratch until the night a hog killed him and that vest looked like it had been run over by a bush hog! I could stick 4 fingers thru it in atleast 4 places. it did a great job except for that one time

X's 2!! That Titan that J.C. is cranking out is bar none the best cut vest I have ever used. I will tell you I have been hog hunting a long time and if you want to take care of that prized catch dog. You will suit 'em up with a Titan!!!! Gilbert Thompson

Mine came from Masseys in Carthage, but the vest is actually made by Tejas. It has the neck guard, and the extra padding on the chest and sides. Its not felt.

Does the vest have any kind of restriction on your dogs, running .
