Well last thursday I had the chance to take some men from Iowa out hog hunting with dogs for the first time.. They were a little nervous of it but in the end had a blast.. We struck a hog right off the bat he ran and ran and luckily I was able to catch my dogs as they stoped for a drink of water.. well we headed back to the camphouse got the four wheelers and ranger all loaded up about to try our luck at another spot and all of a studden about 400 yards right behind the camphouse Amos went to hammering then the other dogs.. We caught about 120 pound sow and let one of the guys stick her.. The dogs rolled out and had this boar bayed right beside my duck pond..We were able to ease in there and cut Lexi my pitt aloose and was able to get him caught.. After him we almost made it to the four wheelers and amos went to hammering again.. We got in close and turned Lexi aloose but she got thrown off and wasnt able to get him stopped but maybe next time.. The guys said they had a blast and want to do it again.. anyways here the pic of the boar he probally went around 180 or so Me, Amos, and the boar  Here are some of my pups I have high hopes for in the years to come! Just going to say thanks for all the compliments.. I sure hope the pups turn out.. I let them two yella pups see thier first hog yesterday and they went nutts baying it..
