Well it started off Saturday evening with a couple of hogs real quick, one boar about 140# and a 180# sow. There were hogs all in this place. Hogs were going everywhere and it was THICK!!!! Finally Rookie got one stopped again in some thick $hit and the boys finally got there and killed the boar witch was about 130#'s. I finally got there and looked down and said "LOOK AT THE TEETH ON THIS SHOAT" Got all the dogs together and started looking around and there was blood high on the palmettos and I had all the dogs except my 9 yr old BMC that is one of my best strike dogs. I called out to Laci to bring me the Garmin to find him. She tracked right to the collar about 20ft from the hog and it had been unbuckled. All the other dogs were not cut and he was the only one missing with no collar on now. My heart sank, got a big lump in my throat. After hunting with a dog for 9years you get pretty attached to him. So of course I started going crazy looking in the woods under every bush and thanks to all my friends they made a big swipe through the woods and was helping me look and calling for him. I just new he was dead after seeing the blood trail he left and the amount of blood he had lost. I was almost in tears when DODO & DJ hollared out WE GOT HIM!!!! Corse I ran through briars and thicket to get to them and through tears in my eys picked him up and headed out of the woods! HE WAS ALIVE AND WELL WITH ONE BIG CUT ON HIS FRONT SHOULDER AND THIS WILL TELL YOU THE DRIVE WE HAVE IN OUR DOGS!! HE LEFT OUT WITH THAT CUT ON ANOTHER HOG UNTIL HE GOT TO WHERE HE WAS TOOO TIRED. SO NOW HE IS ALIVE AND WELL AND IN THE HOUSE BABYSITTING. Yust want to thank all my friends that got in the woods and help me find NOCHO!!! Grin

This is the hog!

Here is NOCHO! GLAD TO HAVE HIM! GOD DOES ANSWER PRAYERS!

Well Rick he can always come to my place and be the number one stud dog.  Nocho pups are in big demand these days. Im so glad that we found him. There were as many people in the woods as there were hogs.

Laci, give Nacho some of those warm blankets from the dryer and a big fluffy pillow! My  Booger Butt sure is enjoying his and all the attention he's been getting.
He's already pulled half the stitches out! But its healing ok just the same.
Glad to hear Nacho wasnt dead.  My heart sank when ronnie was telling me the story!
