Joseph Hines works for Winn Parish and is holding a baying 14 miles from winfield that weekend to try and help the community that welcomes us each year at earl's. They have been hit hard by this too.  His number is 318-663-0636 if anyone is interested and needs more info.

Hey all!
I'm new to forum, but wanted everyone to know the scoup on the Baying going on the weekend that was supposed to be Uncle Earl's.

The event is being hosted by Double H Bay Pen, or Joe Hines and James Haymon.  Joe has been a long time bayer and hog hunter, he actually had a bay pen at his place about 12-13 years ago.  He has attended or participated and some years judged at Uncle Earl's since it began.

Several supporters of our sport are joining together to support Winn Parish and the City of Winnfield.  For years they have welcomed us, and we all know we weren't always angels, but each year they said "come on back!".

Also, we all know that we can't let the Bunny Huggers think they ever have the edge.  Uncle Earl's has always been our primier event.  Without that anchor, there could really be some problems if they think they can get the upper hand.

We would love for any and all that want to attend to come and help up support some of our greatest fans -the city of Winnfied and Winn Parish.

Good to see you on board Renee, I think you will really like this board. It is what so many others wish they could be. I am looking forward to seeing ya'll at Joe's and plan on dragging anyone along that  is interested. It should be as fair and honest as can be with the people that are putting it on.  I know you weren't talking about me when you made that comment about angels, right? It must be David you were thinking about..lol

And here I've been thinking that David dropped the fifth during that rain storm last year.. I'm really starting to get excited about baying. I'm really looking forward to working with my young dogs.

Just want to wish all those who are attending Joes Baying good luck and want to encourage every one in that area to try and get out and support the city of winnfeild. The response to our Reunion Bay Has Been Overwhelming and we are with out a doubt are going to have the largest crowd we ever had. It is a good feeling to see our sport beginning to grow again. I want to personaly thank Ms Renee Jackson,Kelly and Autry Boyds,David Herrington,Wayne Dupleshane and my good friends the Keopp Family for supporting Joe Hinds Bay you all represent some of the best bay dogs in the business and should prove to be a unbeatable combination. To see good people like you all working togather put a smile on my face and joy in my heart. once again good luck and send us the results so we can post for every one to see.
PS Hey Skipper

Renee-aka-hogdoglady, what are the exact rules on the youth bay? If I understood Joe right as long as its the youths dog and the youth runs it they can bay in any event right? Also are they limiting the youth to 1 entry in the youth bay or can they bay as many of their dogs as they would like?

Youth Bay questions.  Dog must be owned by family, couple, kennel.  The dog can be run in other events other than youth bay, but if it is, the youth  that is running the dog inthe youth bay must handle the dog.

On youth bay payback - 100% on entry fees, and calcutta.  This is for the future of our sport.

Hope this helps.

It would be your son running the dog, not you. Signed up, handled and ran by your son.

Sounds like alot from the people that have called me to see if I was going. The amount of people that have responded to come out and help a community that has always been there for the bay pen people is overwhelming. I am so proud of the bay pen group. They are stepping up to the plate for a group of people that can't go somewhere else. Between ya'll and Joe and Jame's bay it should be a bigger turnout than ever before in one week. Everyone is going somewhere to bay, even if they hadn't planned on going to uncle earls. As far as how many entries they are expecting, you would need to contact Joe.
