It was a pretty good weekend. Rex (Bump), "Bryant", Travis and Myself hunted as a team (CenTex Hog Doggers) in the 2010 TDHA Hunting Contest. We also had Joseph (HickoryFlatBoars), Clint, Luke, Darrell, Hubbard and Travis's boy Bo. We ended up with a weekend total of 15 hogs. We caught our last hog about 6:30 Sunday morning and hauled a$$ to Hallettsville for the weigh-in. I had a blast at the Expo and it was good to see good friends again and meet some new ones. All in all, it was a good weekend with good friends and no sleep. Grin Already looking forward for the next one...

Good to shake hands and see everyone again, that is a great weekend of hunting right there no matter how you finished in the contest.

Great hunt guys! Bryant,,Twister is doing good, got him to the ranch and let him go and the first thing he did was run up to the horses,,didn't take him long to figure out he didn't want much of that. He even got in his kennel when I was feeding. Fell right in like he has been there all his life. THANKS

Glad to finally meet everyone that I could, Sorry I didn't get to see all of you! I WILL BE THERE NEXT YEAr! By the way, when are you all coming down here to hunt?

Yep, it was a good but tiring weekend.  It's just harder for me to rebound from that lack of sleep than it used to be.

Speaking of sleep, what the heck were you doing awake last night at 9:50 pm, Richard???  I know my butt crashed about 15 minutes after getting back home.

Good to see everyone at the weigh-in.

Rick,  Nice to meet you in person, and glad Twister fell right in.  Like you and I spoke about, I'm very interested in keeping up with him.  Whether or not he makes a dog, time will tell but I know for certain he'll be given the opportunity.  About the hunt, I'll be giving you a call in the next couple of weeks.

It was good seeing everyone this weekend. I just wish there were more time to chat with everybody. For as many hours as I spent there, bumping my gums, it was not close to enough.

Sorry about bumping you guys, but hey, We will take it  laugh

Thats a dang good haul fellas!!! Talk about feeling left out! I sure hated missing it all and the opportunity to meet some folks off this board. Next year I guess.

I think 11th. There was alot of good teams and big hogs brought in. Our average hogs couldn't cut the mustard.  Grin

Remember, its no fun to drink by yourself. Also with the hogs the Skinner brothers have been pulling in lately, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about the side bet. If we set up a hunt one of these days, I still may bring a bottle of Jack Daniel's single barrel reserve (hint,hint)... Grin
