Sorry to hear that Chance... that is always tough especially in your situtation with the wife and kids so involved and using the dogs. Not many whole families that involved together, I always thought that was a great thing. I bet they understand the loss and the risk better the loss than most, but ya sure dont look forward to things like that.

Chance sorry to hear about the lose of you dog. It dont matter what string they are in they will be missed. He had to be pretty good or you would not have been feeding him. God Bless

Gosh dang buddy! I hate to hear this! I know he was your go to dog on Cattle! Man! That sure is bad news to lose him like that. I know I was sure impressed with him when i saw him go and what he could do. He will be missed and Hard to replace. Hopefully one of these pups outta ellie will help fill his shoes!

Sorry to hear about your family's loss. He was a great looking dog and well worth his, so called short comings. It is never the scrubs that get remembered forever like he will be. RIP Gator....

Thanks for all the replies!!! Gator does have some offspring out there and they are really turning on to cattle!!They are 14 months old and one is sure a hell of a lead dog and will stay hooked to cattle all day by herself its just ashame that I don't on her!! Thanks again!!
