RULES:
-TEAMS MUST FOLLOW THE SPECIAL RULE TO BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THEIR HOGS INTO THE CONTEST. THE
SPECIAL RULE MUST BE PRESENT IN EVERY PICTURE. IF A TEAM DOES NOT PRESENT THE SPECIAL RULE IN THE
PICTURE, THAT ANIMAL WILL NOT COUNT TOWARDS THE CONTEST.
-THE MAIN CONTEST (NOT THE SIDE POTS) WILL BE JUDGED ON THE TOTAL COMBINED FIELD DRESSED WEIGHT OF
THE FOUR HEAVIEST WILD HOGS KILLED, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES AND REGULATIONS STATED BELOW.
-TEAMS WITH FEWER THAN FOUR HOGS WILL BE PLACED ACCORDING TO THEIR COMBINED WEIGHT, NOT
ACCORDING TO THE NUMBER OF HOGS ENTERED.
- ANIMALS MUST BE TAKEN WITH A KNIFE ONLY. ANY ANIMAL WITH A BULLET HOLE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
-FOR TEAMS THAT ENTER AT SIGN-IN STATION: AT LEAST 1 TEAM MEMBER MUST BE PRESENT AT SIGN IN TO
RECEIVE “SPECIAL RULE”. IF ONE TEAM MEMBER SIGNS THE TEAM IN, THE OTHER MEMBERS OF THAT TEAM MAY -
NOT START HUNTING UNTIL HE / SHE JOINS.

-EACH HOG MUST HAVE A FIELD PHOTO (TAKEN AS SOON AFTER THE KILL AS POSSIBLE) BY ONE OF THE TEAM
MEMBERS, WITH ALL OF THE REMAINING TEAM MEMBERS PRESENT IN EACH PICTURE WITH THE “SPECIAL RULE”
ITEM DISPLAYED AS THE RULE READS IN EACH PICTURE. THESE RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED IN ORDER FOR THAT HOG
TO BE ENTERED INTO THE CONTEST. RULES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
-FOLLOW REGISTRATION AND CHECK IN TIMES.
-TEAMS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO CHECK IN ON SATURDAY APRIL 10TH BUT MAY IF THEY WOULD LIKE
(OPTIONAL WEIGH IN).
-AT LEAST ONE TEAM MEMBER MUST BE PRESENT AT THE FINAL WEIGH-IN.
-CLOCK AT REGISTRATION IS OFFICIAL CLOCK.
-MUST FOLLOW ALL STATE LAWS
-ALL ANIMALS MUST BE HARVESTED WITHIN COMPETITION HOURS.
-ALL ANIMALS MUST BE CAUGHT WITH DOGS
-NO TRAPPED HOGS WILL BE ALLOWED IN COMPETITION
-NO “PEN FED” HOGS WILL BE ALLOWED IN COMPETITION, MUST BE WILD AND FREE RANGING (HIGH FENCE
RANCHES ARE ALLOWED).
-“CUT HOGS” WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE ENTERED INTO THE MAIN CONTEST, BUT WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE
HEAVIEST BOAR SIDE POT.
-ALL ANIMALS WILL BE CHECKED FOR FRESHNESS AND HARVEST METHOD.
-TEAM MEMBERS WILL HUNT AND COMMUTE FROM ONE VEHICLE, AND MAY NOT SEPARATE.
-ONLY HUNTERS ENTERED WITH TEAM MAY HUNT.
-NO POOLING OF ANIMALS.
-TIES ARE BROKEN BY DRAWING A CARD FROM A DECK. HIGH CARD WINS, 2 IS LOWEST AND ACE IS HIGHEST.
-IF NEEDED, A POLYGRAPH EXAM WILL BE GIVEN.
-DISPUTES NEED TO BE MADE BEFORE 3PM ON SUNDAY, AND JUDGE MAKES FINAL RULING.
-EACH TEAM WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROPER DISPOSAL OF ALL ANIMALS.
CASH PAYOUTS:
MAIN CONTEST = 70% of Entry Fees will be paid out in Prize money. The other 30% will be used for contest expenses.
SIDE POTS = 100% Winner takes all for each category
