Harry had a gentleman on his rodeo committee and his son, who was in town from Pennsylvania, out chasing city hogs today. They caught a nice boar right before I got off work and were right around the corner, so I headed over to weigh and take some pics for them... he went 195# on the scale.

Proud first time hunter...

thanks Mike for taking the time and stop by and play photographer. Me , my nephew and russell and his son Tyler from Pennsylvania rolled out this morning about 8 to a place that we catch very few hogs but we always chase them every hunt. A contract that Mike and myself have but its thick and hard to hunt. anyways , we had 4 bays 4 different directions this morning everytime we got 50 or 60 yds they would break and never give bb a chance to get there. I was listening to a solid bay and cut the cd(BB) loose. we stopped and listened dogs were at about 80 yds, waiting for catch that never came. While we were waiting 5    75-100 # hogs came about 20 yds from 4wheeler and laid down, i had no dogs on hand, pigs walked off so I headed to bay and was 2 Ft from stepping on 6th hog. We ended up no hogs before lunch. We ate and then I was inspired by CWARDs POST about not getting out run again, turned dogs out they got bayed and I drove fast as I could to the cut in the woods where it narrows down and he ran right by me with my two gyps clopsing in fast we ended up .9 miles from start of bay, bayed solid in a field, walked catch dog up to bay cut loose and caught the hog. Tyler stuck the hog right the first time and I dont think I could have beat the smile off of Russell and his sons face. Great day Good company. Thanks to my nephew Justin for all the hard wk he put in. Thanks chance for the inspiration.

Harry,

You are my hero! Grin   Getting a hog caught in that little piece of hell is a true challenge.
