Got the sad news this morning from the vets assistant. My Parker gyp Happy got a poke in the rib area last Saturday when we got on the last hog. Pretty good boar and did some damage to some others as well. I did'nt think it was that bad but took her to the vet Monday morning and he had to do some surgery and almost lost her on the table. She seemed to be on the comeback but just didn't make it. Tusk went to far inside and did some damage I guess. This dog just turned two in January and was just a out of this world hog dog. Maybe tied with the best I've ever seen. No quit in her and find hogs all day long if you'd let her. She will be missed by me and others that hunted with her. If anybody has a good contact on some Parker dogs let me know.
