Im a little confused hog428. How does the BMC help? Have you crossed it into your line of bulldogs? I didnt see any minsion of BMC in your opening post but I will go back and check.

I see. I was just on your web site looking at the history of your dogs. My mistake. From your post I thought you had full blooded bulldogs.
Its making since to me now. Cheesy

hog 428 have your dogs ever misread a hand signal and let a hog go on you i think that is why people want a pit that catches and holds on with its eyes rolled back in its head until you rip em off no confusion just do what comes natural to a pit

That is awesome. I hope to be hunting that way in the future. There are people around who hunt like that or are in the process of getting set up like that but as you know its not some thing that happens over night. There are actually people who believe a style simular to yours or a hybrid version will be the future of hog hunting. With the running hogs and smaller areas to hunt its pretty easy to see the advantages.

The biggest problem I have right now is sifting thru dogs to find ones that will work like that or can be bred to create dogs to work like that. I have a few that could be used like that and I try to work them when ever possible. It takes alot of time to transition, multiple generations in alot of cases. Unless it gains popularity the people who do want to hunt like that have to have their own controlled breeding program going on because the majority do not feel they need to hold their dogs to those standards.

99 % of the time I hunt alone the need for control is a must Im going to make a film for boarninja to show the control its starts at birth if I got into all the things I think are important we would be here for a week  I NEVER need to hit my dogs the tone of my voice is all I need to discipline my dogs I will show this to if you hit a bull they will act the same to other dogs bulls never forget Iv tried both ways gota love em they will love you back
