Sam said something I find to be interesting that she usually does not hang with other women, either. I have female friends, but very few that I would care to take hunting.  Crystal Ward seem to be the only ones that I know that actually have female hunting friends. The others like Stacie, Mandi & myself are usually just solo, hunt with the guys. I can't say I have any reason that I wouldn't cause I like Stacie and Mandi a bunch, but when I see them and hunt with them its usually a group get together.

Maybe I will be thinking about this the rest of the day.

Krystal, we it's not that we don't want to hunt with you, it's that we can't. We want there to be some hogs in the woods for posterity. No sense in us girls catching them all.

J/K  I don't know why we don't have more girls on the hunts with us. I'm sure that part of the reason is that our hunting buddies are married and their significant others like to hunt, but they aren't just itching to go every single time. I have to think that single guys get more girls into the woods because the girls are into the guys. Not meaning that in a bad way, but ladies know what I mean - the "honeymoon phase" of a new relationship.

I'm not meaning to sound sexist or anything, but there are some girls that I'd just as soon not be in the woods with me. They are the ones that won't help with anything and are constantly complaining about this or that. I'm sure there aren't any of THOSE girls on ETHD because ETHD Ladies get to the bay and know what to do when they get there.

I've been married long enough to learn that a relationship is a give and take type deal.  My wife has no interest in catching a hog and for each time she should accompany me to the woods, she would expect me to accompany her to the mall to look at shoes, purses or something ignorant like that.

For that reason, I'll go alone and be glad to let her do the same.

lmao, same here, my wife will go sometimes, but usually after falling on her ass or something she pretty much remembers why she doesnt like going, and then i gotta go do the walmart or mall thing with her, which to me is equal to sticking a pin in my eye.

I have been going on hunts with my dad since I can remember, not necessarily on hog hunts cause we started that when I was 15 but if its any kind of hunting or fishing I'm usually there. I may not always be the first at the bay there's no way I can beat my two brothers and my dad all the time but I love being there and I would rather be there than anywhere else. I have two sisters and they are not into this kind of stuff. Some of the guys I dated would find out about what I like to do on the weekends and they thought it was too "hardcore" I'm glad I never brought any of those sissy's home cause they would have gotten picked on. Its hard finding someone who likes to do the same things and the girls on here who have are very lucky!

LillWill I was always a daddys girl always wanting to go and do what dad is doing. He taught me everything I know, after my parents separated I moved to Texas to live with him. I was 14 when he taught me how to cook, how to tell when boys are bs'n and how to skin a hog! I guess maybe that's why I'm still single I don't let bs slide! Lol And see my dad is cuban and we like to raost pigs its a tradition for us so gutting and skinning a hog is like another day at the office for me.

Good morning to you too!! I just fixed breakfast for Rick and all of our friends to go hunting. I have to goto work.  Oh well. I hope they have fun. Atleast I get to go this weekend!!

Well I got breakfast too!!!! And I get to go fishing tomorrow and hunting Sunday morning!!! So it's not too bad. I usually get off early on Friday's so I may get to go fishing this afternoon too!!
