I dont have a tracking system yet and I think Garmin is the way im going to go but Ive seen some people unhappy with it. Other systems ive seen dont tell you as much as garmin does and cost just as much but are they more dependable? Ive hunted with quys that use garmin and I couldnt imagine going without one. In yalls opinion what is the best tracking system and why?

From what I have found so far from other hunters experiences I would say Quick Track or Garmin. Both have their ups & downs but do their job at one point or another.

If you want to really keep up with your dogs Buy both Radio and GPS System. Never just use a GPS system. My 2 cents

The Garmin system can lose "signal" if using a commercial radio with it, which is most of the problems guys encounter - I've heard several stories from many people who have inquired with me about the various tracking systems, most end up buying a garmin and like it. I always tell people no matter what you buy, go to squaretrade.com to get it insured, it is considered either "other" electronics, or "GPS" and you can get a 3 year warranty from them for pretty cheap - so if anything happens to it, you let squaretrade know and they reimburse you, it's a great warranty.
