I got home from work about 5:15 P.M. I was sittin in the house watching the T.V. and all of the dogs started to bark and I got up and looked out the window and saw something black running back and forth. So I ran outside and looked again and I saw a hog and I said HOLY number 2. I turned Red loose he is half pit and half bluetick. He ran to the hog and then I turned JR loose he ran to the hog and I was watching them. I said what the hell so I turned Rocky loose the pup that I got from Jimmy he ran to the hog and started to bark at the hog like he knew what he was doing. He is just a little bit over 6 months old. The hog only had 1 ear and the other ear was gone already. So I let the dogs play with him for a little bit and then I got the dogs off the hog and put the hog in the pen so I can play with it with Rocky. Who said that you need a full pit to catch a hog in the open.  Smiley  Smiley

my catch dogs are pit/curs. they catch hard every time and have a handle after the catch. my oldest one will stand next to a hog, off the lead if its tied. ill never go back to full pits.
