A friend of mine is wanting to see pics of your American Bulldog catch dogs whether in action or hanging out. Put the bloodlines with it if you know them as well. Thanks!

They look good raider!

Does anyone have any aggression problems between the males? Any difference in males and females catching (one working harder, one working smarter, etc)?

all the ones That I iknow of that are being used to catch are doing great males and females, one of my males may not make it, if he is sent in by himself he bays a little before he catches and usually catches behind the front leg. That litter is only 12 months old and the males are about 130 pounds, he does OK if another dog is with him but after 40 or 50 hogs he should be hammering like his sibblings are. My Max dog in most of the action shots has over 150 catches at 12 months old. He is our main catch dog now. Those are the best mannered dogs I have ever seen, dont pull on you, quiet, laid back and dont have a mean bone in thier body, they dont even fight back when one of the cur dogs jump on them. I sure am liking them

Do you think that takes more from either breed or do you think it's just the cross?

I think that is the nature of both breeds, I own the mom and she is my wife's house dog and I have never seen a Dogo that wasnt like that. But they are not like pitbull catch dogs either, they are not Kamakazi catch dogs but they are good solid catch dogs and I believe they are alot more athletic. Now you PitBull guys dont get mad at me here because we have PitBulls to and love them! Grin

Great looking dogs from everybody.
Summerhunt, my buddies pit was also involved on hunt but he has caught alot of much bigger hogs than these by himself.

Here he is at about nine

Female(she has caught some bad boars but is just to dog aggressive to trust hunting with other people's dogs when my male doesnt have that issue

I dont have a scanner but have alot of better pics and video, I just need to get on computer sometime with some good woods action.

the female pup in front is 5 now and turned in to a good catchdog who has caught some very rough boars including one that killed his best pit catchdog unfortunately.  He went back and got her and currs kept him bayed up the whole time and she caught him up.
