Ive tried most of the high dollar feed there is and am happy with the cheap stuff. Ranchers choice from atwoods has been working great for me and at 12.99 a bag I cant gripe about that. I also feed bread as a filler and fattener. I get the bread at Ms Bairds they call it animal feed and get 6 loafs for a dollar, I usally get 5 bags a week for 8 dogs and a 40lb sack of food a week for the same amount of dogs. My dogs are nice and healthy(fat).

if you see the pepridge farms guy restocking the bread at your local store they will give you the old bread free. they throw it away so if you catch them when they are restocking just simply ask and they will give it to you. my buddy literally will get a storage box filled with it.

Sportsmix, black bag. Less stool, and you feed less bcuz it has a high fat content.

I been feeding Sportsmix for about 6 years now and I have had no problems.  My dogs are kept in a pen but my buddy tried Sportsmix 24-20 and his dogs are all on the ground on lead stakeouts and he said it was hard to keep them up on the feed so he switched back to Lonestar.. i like 24-20 because it takes less than the 26-18 to keep them up.
