My dogo pup from PPC is coming on well, took her to the woods for the first time last wkend-she is 9 months old. Instinctively new to hall a$$ to the bay behind the other cd's and locked on hard and sat down low on her elbows without much thrashing etc. had to break and choke her off the second hog. not the best pics... one hog was about 190 the other about 120. She was sent in behind two other solid catch dogs owned by raider54 and hoghunterdfw, but i am still pleased with her progression, temperment, etc. This was good confidence boosting.

Thank you she is real easy going, heels on the lead real well, but is all business with hogs. I am not really pushing her right now, just want her confidence to grow etc. I hope she continues to progress well and stays calm once caught instead of thrashing.

Grant, I was proud of her, I remember when Max and Stroke first started catching, I couldnt wait to see how they would do each trip to the woods. No doubt in my mind she will be a good one. She has alot of heart and I dont think she knows what fear or respect. She can go in behind max any time

Nice hogs and glad to see her again.  She is looking good and looks like she is turning out good.  Always like to hear good news.  Just a few words of caution though, which im sure you already might know.  I would wait untill she is a little older before i start sending her in to much.  Her teeth arnt set good and a good jerk from a hog could pull out a K9 .  Also at her age she isn't mentally "Grown" i wouldn't want her to get cut and possably set her back some.

Thanks for the advice marvin, Its always good to hear it b/c i do get in a rush. I made sure this was going to be a confidence boosting experience by sending her in behind two other solid bulldogs. Now that she has shown me what I want she will go back on the chain for a few months. I hadnt messed with her since she did good in a pen at 5 and 6 mo. now i wanted to get her used to wearing a vest and walking in the woods and knowing what a bay is....mission accomplished back to the chain until she is a yr. and those teeth have set. Thanks again
