Decided to make a run to a small place near Flatonia Friday evening and got this pretty nice boar hog. Unloaded the dogs and walked about 200 yards and Sammy struck him. I say "struck" but we didn't hear a single bark, as Sammy decided he wanted to catch/fight him so all we heard was that deep breathing/grunting these big boars like to do and sammy fighting him. We were only 40 yards away so I sent in my catch dog Kimo, but the hog broke right as I released him.  Sammy stopped him in about 60-70 yards in a little opening and Kimo was right there to seal the deal.

Saturday morning we Loaded up three strike dogs, Hoss, Squirt, and Slick and headed out to Praha. Dogs were hunting out good and  struck a group of hogs in a small oak and yaupon mott. We got right up to the bay and the hogs were rallied and chatterin, we watched the bay for a short while and sent in two catchdogs. My buddy's CD Slug caught a sow that weighed 119lbs and my CD Kimo caught a lil boar that weighed 143lbs with decent teeth for a young hog. While dispatching those two hogs,  Hoss and Squirt were on a shoat catchin spree and we ended up sticking 4. Meanwhile Slick rolled out and once we re-grouped and checked the garmin he was .6 miles off bayed. Ended up with another lil boar about 160. Brought all the hogs home except the last one for weighing and dog food.

Last boar ~ 160
