What would u say to this remark if someone said this to u on another message board where they KNEW what u did 2-3 days a week...

Internet police are soooo funny..... i asked about TWO dogs that were Blue lacy and i have always wanted to try one since my first one i had years ago.. And to answer ur dumb remark or " You must have a lot of dogs" No i dont i have 7 dogs and for someone that hogs hunts as much as most of us do and not 1 every three months that is not VERY many....
If need to delete that is fine,,,, Just something that i was aplaud that someone kept up with me that much...

I know exactly where that comment was made and Ill tell you that I have gotten similar questions.
Personally, I ignore them. It's none of their damn business that I have 16 dogs, where they are kept or what I do with them.........

 I just saw who made the comment..... Mike is a member on here, TXboars, TX-outdoors etc.... I dont think his comment was based on TBH activity only....... That being said, he has about as many dogs as you so I doubt that his comment was intended how you read it. Steve |

That is what i was thinkin, but u know i just dont understand people like that sometimes,, u know we try to withhold a rep on theses boards and then someone that KNOWS u are a hard hog hunter makes a statement like that just raddles me!!! If he really wanted to know just look at my selling history,, there is none... I will give a dog away to a GOOD home before i would sell it to a crappy home, if in case he thinks i get them and sell them : Yea mike that is y i was kinda excited that someone would keep up with me!! LOL Although i will give them an autograph picture if they wanna come hunt.. LOL |

Yea i know he is and that is y i was confused becuase i know he knew i was a die hard dog hunter and he makes a statement like that on a board that people dont know me and it just can be taken the wrong way .( Like people may think i am a dog trader or something). If i seen another member i knew on a new board i would welcome them and help out a fellow hog hunter NOT SAY A STATMENT LIKE THAT TO THEM for sure... Just my opinion though...

All in all, I was making a smart ass remark about how you post on just about every other thread about a cheap/ free dog. Being a dog trader never entered my mind. Steve, knowing me, read it the way I wrote it.

Well NOT knowing me guess u gotta watch what u say bout other hog hunters on other boards... To me and others that read that it would come across as u knowing that i was a dog trader or something and would not want to do any buisness with me based on that... When in fact I am complete oposite of a dog trader...

I read the post and didn't take it to mean that he was implying you were a dog trader. But it sounds like you just read into it too much. And honestly I think you took it a little far posting on another board about it. Thats just DRAMA! People arn't going to remember what was said in a week. Can't we all just get along  . I am not trying to offend anyone, that is just my opinion. |

I just went back and re read your first post on this thread.
To be honest- I never thought you were a dog trader, still dont. The point I was maing is that you post on ALOT of threads about dogs that are being sold. Maybe it is fast fingers, wishful thinking, who knows...... It is alot like biding on multiple items on e-bay just for fun and never paying the seller. And for the record it was 4 in the past few months on one site. Not that I am "watching" you , I have a great memory with things that make me laugh.

The problem with comments like that is you can not show emotion on a computer screen. So when someone else reads the comment they may take it differently. Not veryone thinks the same. He may have been joking but like ellis said things like that can give a guy a bad name b people that dont actually know him. Please keep this civil i dont want problems from other boards being dragged over here.

Clay hit it on the money and after i posted it i thought exactly bout bringing problems here but i knew that he was a memeber and would see it on a board where people would understand where i am coming from on issue of getting dogs... This happened on a deer hunting board and may have went the wrong way but i know here that people know what kinda a comment that can do to a persons internet image and that is what i was shocked at becuase my screenname says that i am a hog hunter (and use it on every board) and figured he knew what i did with dogs and how that really pissed me off with that comment. And i was glad to know that he is a member here and know that saying things like that to ANY dog man could be very insulting!
Clay if it gets outta hand or whatever please delete. I think what has been said is all that was needed, so if u want u can go ahead and delete anyway... Thanks for understandin though..

No problem ellis I know a few people that have recieved a bad rap because of one not so well thought out comment or one post People need to think how someone else might take it before posting any thing on a public board. Not only can it be taken out of context by a fellow hunter but also all the non hunters a animal activist that frequent all of the hunting forums looking for fuel to feed the anti fire. Just use common sense when making any post.

Cull yea i got one that i got from a guy that it needed a home so i got it and it will bay the piss outta a hog in a pen but for u i will sell as a FINISHED dog for $500 seen probly 4 hogs in tha pen!!! I have a pre paid phone that u can call to get a hold of me but might be outta minutes after u buy him!! |
