I m not calling any names or pointing fingers I just believe others need to know what happenend to my buddy and me last week. We hunted thurs night and cauhgt a good boar about 250#. We struck another one on the way out and he ran on us. We ended up losing 2 dogs. We did not have tracking collars on the dogs but felt they would come back to the friend's house where we hunted. We drove back Fri and looked w/no luck. Sunday my buddy went back and knocked on about 70 doors. He found a woman who 's nephew had come and picked up my bud's dog she knew where the dog was taken to and they got together and he got his dog back. How is that being a dog thief? They never called the # on the collar. Come to find out they took the dog hunting hunting Fri night and found 2 hogs. Bottom line they planned on keeping the dog until they found out if the dog was any good or not. The guy was all mad when his woman took my buddy to their place and got his dog back. We now own tracking systems to eliminate (at least to a great degree) having to leave dogs and trust dishonest/honest people to call a number for us to come get our dogs. Just our experience thought it might help someone out there. God help the man who jacks with my dogs cause I wont.

In some places around the world back in the day. The punishment for a dog thief was DEATH. No joke. Dont mess with a man's dog or wife. PERIOD.

It is not called theft it is called found property.  The part that shows his moral character is he doesnt have the b@lls to call the number on the collar, but to top it off he takes it hunting.  Thats called a coward same as a thief in my book.

So if someone finds a wallet with ID and keeps it that is stealing. If you find a dog with no name or number you at least hold it in the area for a few days. but when you find it with a name and you take it so it can't be found... Then when it is found you have an attitude! I may get a little hot headed but that would have me boiling.

after i got my dog back and safely home. i believe i would have gone back to teach a lesson on morality. i probably would be the one going to jail instead of the thief. but that is the system for ya.

IMO, the law is what created these so called "MEN".  They simply know that they are protected and use the system in their favor. They dont have any morals cause they aint been taught any..  After workin in the prison system for 14 yrs I see this different breed of people and believe me there is only one good way to deal with em, but that goes back to what I said before  The LAW......  Man, how times have changed

It was my dog that the scum bag had. Theft, I beleive it was. He knew that the dog had a tag on the collar, took it hunting anyway and didnt have the intentions of calling the number on the collar. He even bragged about his new dog to a buddy he was hunting with. I kept my cool with his wife, if it was him that was there it would have been different circumstances. Its a small world and we might meet one day. He will have to explain himself to me why he did what he did, I just hope we are in the woods when he does Smiley Im just happy I got my dog back.

I hope he is carrying a compass in the woods. Because you sure can get lost without one!

As you can see there are lots of people very passionate about this one. I say tell everyone in the area bout what he did and then watch all his friends and neighbors abandon and ignore him.
